How we built it

Task lighting tailored to gemological inspection requires controlled spectra and steady output. We build this task light with dedicated color-temperature modes ranging from warm incandescent hues to cool daylight balance, paired with five dimming levels. An articulated arm lets you sweep the beam over parcel trays, grading pads, and repair fixtures.

What it does on the bench

01

Four Spectral Modes

Dedicated settings deliver 5200K, 2700K, 4000K, and 6200K output. This lets you inspect diamonds, colored stones, organic pearls, and metal mountings under the precise color temperature needed for proper assessment.

02

Five Brightness Levels

High-power LEDs provide five selectable output steps across the array. You can dial down the intensity to check subtle inclusions or increase the lumens for close inspection, stone setting, and fine bench repairs.

03

Articulated Arm Design

A flexible gooseneck and pivoting head allow exact placement above your grading tray or microscope stage. The stable base keeps the light source steady right where you position it across long examination sessions.

04

Touch Panel Operation

Electronic touch sensors on the housing control power, color mode, and brightness without mechanical switches. An integrated 1.2A USB port supplies power for bench accessories or mobile devices while you work.
