How we built it

Pocket-sized precision starts with a resilient build and a stable load cell. We fit the MP601 with a stainless steel weighing platform and a high-contrast blue backlit LCD for legible readings across five weighing units. The removable hinged lid doubles as an expansion tray to handle loose findings and larger parcels.

What it does on the bench

Load Cell Precision

We calibrate the internal sensor to register weights up to 600 g with 0.1 g readability. Jewelers can toggle between grams, troy ounces, ounces, grains, and pennyweights directly on the keypad.

Protective Rubberized Housing

Our chassis features an EZ-grip rubberized finish that resists slips on busy workbenches. The hinged cover shields the platform during transit and detaches cleanly to serve as a tare tray.

Backlit Digital Readout

A bright blue illuminated LCD presents clear digits under direct bench lighting or dim counter conditions. Onboard functions include push-button digital calibration, tare weight tracking, and a low battery warning.

Portable Field Power

We power the instrument with two standard AAA alkaline batteries and incorporate an automatic shut-off cycle to conserve energy. A soft protective leatherette pouch guards the housing when packed away.
