How we built it

A durable retractable probe tip pairs with scanning software to separate diamonds from moissanite, cubic zirconia, and white sapphire. We built LED illumination and UV fluorescence detection directly into the testing head to light each stone as you work. The handheld housing runs on rechargeable NiMH cells, alkaline batteries, or a continuous USB Type-C connection.

What it does on the bench

Multi Stone Separation

Our internal scanning technology evaluates thermal and electrical conductivity to identify diamonds, moissanite, and white sapphire. The software analysis provides distinct stone readings across mounted jewelry and loose parcels.

Illuminated Probe Head

We integrate a bright LED stone illuminator alongside UV fluorescence detection at the tip. This direct lighting clarifies stone placement on the bench and helps observe fluorescent reactions during inspection.

Retractable Tip Mechanism

The spring-loaded retractable probe tip protects internal sensing components against excessive hand pressure. We engineered this assembly to maintain consistent contact while testing stones of various cut styles.

Flexible Power Options

Run the tester using the included rechargeable AAA NiMH batteries, standard alkaline cells, or the USB Type-C cord. The included universal voltage adapter charges the cells directly inside the unit.
